TSPlayer was an application designed to replace the role of the call recording playback software. It ran SQL queries (to a MSSQL database) much faster than the official software, incorporated bespoke functionality and, most importantly, because it was built in-house it had the benefit of allowing users to provide feedback, request new additions and the like. This proved to be very beneficial for the QA team, who were its primary users.

The application was written because the official playback software constantly timed out when querying the database because the query was longer than necessary; every option that was available would always be referenced in the query. This was also my first substantial application.

TSPlayer was very well received, particularly by the QC department, who were having constant issues with the official software. TSPlayer quickly took the place of the official software.
